Hodge cleared of reports
Hawthorn FC is pleased to confirm that Luke Hodge will be available for Round 1 after the Match Review Panel dismissed both reports laid against the talented midfielder during a practice match against Essendon on Saturday.
After assessing the match day report, the panel decided Hodge was not guilty of striking Essendon’s Matthew Lloyd in the second quarter of the game played at Casey Fields, nor for charging Damien Peverill in the last term.
Shane Crawford has accepted a fine after he was reported for using abusive language.
