Hawthorn's Tasmanian-based community team, along with University Tasmania students and special guest Hawka visited our third primary school as part of the Tassie Hawks in Schools Program.

The team made the short drive out of Launceston to the town of Longford to present our health and well being program to 70 excited Longford Primary School students.

The students of Longford primary are football fanatics, every week bringing their AFL player cards for a swap meet - even the teachers get involved too.

It was great to see so many Hawks fans who could answer the tough quiz questions about our fantastic Club!

All the students behaved exceptionally well and everyone eagerly participated in lively discussions and fun activities throughout the visit.

Many thanks to principle Heather Fahey, Jan Scott and staff and students at Longford Primary for making the visit an enjoyable and educational experience for all.

The next school that we come across will be Rokeby Primary School.
