Over 47 days Hawks Senior Coach Alastair Clarkson will share his thoughts on each player on the Hawthorn list - from guernsey number 48 to 2.

What Clarko says

47. Adam Pattison

Welcome back Hawks supporters to my summer series, yesterday we featured Will Langford, today we'll be looking at Adam Pattison who will wear the number 47 guernsey for the mighty Hawks in 2012.

Adam's a young lad who's been in the AFL system for quite some time now, he was originally drafted to the Richmond footy club at the end of 2004 and played for a few years with the Tigers before spending a couple of years at St. Kilda and in 2011 spent some time with the Box Hill Hawks.

2012 is a year that Adam will really look forward to he's a lad that plays his best footy in the ruck and we think he can really add some of his skills to our team in the years to come. He's a boy who's added a bit of bulk to his frame over the last three or four years, he originally came into the system as a tall bean pole. Now, at 25 years of age we feel like his best footy is ahead of him. I'm sure with a big pre-season and a real strong work ethic towards the start of next season he'll feature for the Hawks sometime next year.

I look forward to tomorrow, featuring number 46 Derrick Wanganeen, cheers.
