But Ben Stratton's goal, the second of his career in the final game of his career, has been voted the number one moment of 2020.

In a landslide vote count, fans gave the nod to the outgoing skipper's fairytale finish, which undoubtedly brought a tear to the eye of many among the brown and gold faithful.

With the win over Gold Coast in the bag for the Hawks, coach Alastair Clarkson swung his reliable defender forward as a last gasp attempt to add to his one career goal, which was kicked way back in Round 19 of the 2010 season.
