Kyle Hartigan is officially a Hawk, following a trade that saw the Hawks send its future fourth round selection to Adelaide in exchange for the 194cm key defender.
Hartigan has amassed 113 games over eight seasons with the Crows since being taken with Pick 14 in the 2012 Rookie Draft.
Chief of Football Graham Wright says the Hawks are pleased to have secured Hartigan to help bolster the club’s defensive stocks.
“We’re really excited to have Kyle on board ahead of the 2021 season,” Wright said.
“He’s got a young family, and he and his wife Emily were keen to return to Melbourne with their daughter Hazel. We’re pleased to have been the beneficiary of this move.
“Kyle’s been a quality key defender for the Crows for a number of years and will be a handy addition to our back stocks.
“We’re excited to see what Kyle can produce in the brown and gold jumper in years to come.”
