Hawthorn has confirmed the return of three key players ahead of its clash with Adelaide at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
Blake Hardwick, Jack Scrimshaw and Chad Wingard have all been included in the Round 19 team as the Hawks look to carry on their momentum from a promising performance last weekend against Melbourne.
Both returning from hamstring injuries, Wingard and Hardwick haven't been sighted since Round 15 and 16 respectively, while Scrimshaw will make his return after missing a week due to a concussion.
Head of Football Rob McCartney said the trio's inclusion would provide a strong boost to the side.
"It's obviously very exciting to welcome such quality back into the side," McCartney said.
"We were impressed with last week's performance and we hope to see the same effort from the 22 who are playing this week.
"There are a few boys who are unfortunate to miss out, it was probably one of our toughest selection decisions this year, which is ultimately a really good thing.
"We're looking to finish the season strongly and really carry on some of the promising signs we've seen especially over the last couple of months."
Shaun Burgoyne (managed), Emerson Jeka and Damon Greaves will make way for the incoming players.
