Hawthorn's Liam Shiels has been added to the squad ahead of the side's blockbuster clash with Geelong at the MCG on Easter Monday.

The 30-year-old is included in the squad of 26, with Will Day (concussion) the confirmed out from the team that fronted St Kilda last week.

Shiels produced an impressive performance with Box Hill last weekend where he recorded 28 disposals and eight tackles.

Hawthorn will announce its Round 5 team on Saturday at 4.30pm.
