Hawthorn Football Club is proud to unveil an exciting new partnership with global sports headwear giant New Era.
The iconic brand, which is the largest and fastest growing headwear supplier in the world, will join the brown and gold as the club’s exclusive and official on-field headwear partner for season 2023 and beyond.
New Era is widely celebrated by sports fans internationally, renowned for making the world’s finest sporting headwear since its inception more than 100 years ago.
Hawthorn players, coaches and staff will be fitted out with custom-made Hawks headwear as part of the partnership, while members and fans will be able to follow suit with an extensive range on offer.
Hawthorn CEO Justin Reeves highlighted the growing reputation of New Era within the sports landscape, particularly the AFL, in applauding the partnership.
“We are delighted to welcome New Era to the brown and gold during what really is such an exciting period for the club,” Reeves said.
“Like Hawthorn, New Era has formed a strong standing in its chosen field off the back of several years of success and positive culture.
“By joining forces with such a popular sports headwear brand, it is a huge win for our players and coaches, as well as our members and fans.
“Personally, I can’t wait to see the famous Hawthorn logo feature on New Era’s stylish and expressive range.”
New Era Australia General Manager, Simon Hibbs, was thrilled to support the Hawthorn Football Club and become its exclusive and official on-field headwear partner.
"Here at New Era, we pride ourselves on our strong partnerships with clubs and our ability to offer the players, staff and fans a unique, authentic and high-quality range of caps,” Hibbs said.
“I'm excited about what the future holds with growing our relationship with the team at Hawthorn.”
Hawthorn’s latest collaboration with New Era rounds out the three new partnership ventures announced by club in the past month, after Skechers and ISC also joined the Hawks.
