Hawthorn has confirmed young pair Ollie Hanrahan and Conor Nash will be upgraded to the senior list in 2020.
Both Hanrahan and Nash have begun the past three seasons on the rookie list.
Hanrahan was recruited by Hawthorn with the 14th pick in the 2016 rookie draft after playing the majority of his junior football with his school, St Kevin’s College.
A talented junior cricketer, Hanrahan showed a fast-paced development in his first two years in the brown and gold, culminating in a VFL premiership with Box Hill in 2018.
The 21-year-old was then called upon to make his AFL debut in Round 15 this year against the West Coast Eagles.
Kicking a goal on debut, Hanrahan looked comfortable at the level and managed to maintain his spot in the side for the remainder of the season.

Nash similarly showed an impressive level of improvement in 2019, building on his first taste of senior footy the previous year.
The Irishman featured in 14 of the Hawks’ 22 games this year, growing in confidence as the year went on.
One of the club’s best endurance athletes, the 21-year-old now has 19 career games under his belt.
