Jaeger jumpstarts Hawks
The Hawks' midfield brigade have been struggling to impact the scoreboard in 2020, so wasn't it a wonderful sight when Jaeger O'Meara sent an absolute beauty through from 45m out to cement the first goal of the match? The Hawks' number 10 was superb all game, and adding goals to his stats sheet certainly adds to the overall package.
Pup from the boundary
You expect the likes of a Luke Breust or Chad Wingard to pull off this kind of goal, but when one of your toughest inside midfielders does it, it only adds to the excitement. This beautiful 'threading the needle' work by Liam Shiels was certainly one of the highlights of Saturday's match.
Milestone Man
There's few things quite as heartwarming as seeing a favourite son boot a goal in his milestone match. It was a textbook finish from Gunston as he nailed his set shot, as we've seen him do so many times over his 200-game career. Challenge: try not to smile as his teammates swarm around him in celebration.
